| Historical Details: | This was the fourth church built for this congregation, which formed in 1764, but the first church built on this site. |
| Technical Details: | Structural cast iron is used throughout the church and was supplied by the Patapsco Bridge and Iron Works of Baltimore, Wendell Bollman's company. One such location for cast iron is in the spire, which was added in 1873. Much of the cast iron, however, like the timber scissor trusses in the roof, is hidden by the vaulting. |
